10+ years in eCommerce UX and conversion optimization. Previously design lead at two unicorn startups. Obsessed with the psychology of trust in digital commerce.

Lead Designer

Award-winning visual designer with deep expertise in media-rich interfaces. Former art director for Japan's top fashion eCommerce platform.

Founded in Tokyo

Aiko Tanaka founded Ug mei in Asakusa, Tokyo with a single client and a vision for content-first eCommerce design.

2021

First UGC System Launch

Launched our proprietary UGC integration framework — deployed across 12 stores in the first 6 months.

Video Commerce Expansion

Added video block design to our service offering. Signed our first enterprise client — a 7-figure fashion brand.
